It is with great pleasure that we present to you our second issue of the Makerere University Centre for Health and Population Research (MUCHAP) which manages the Iganga Mayuge Health and Demographic Surveillance (IMHDSS) newsletter. The period of January to July 2017 has been quite interactive and has had a heavy of activities. The team continues to anchor itself in population-based research and surveillance, working closely with departments of Makerere University for expertise in various areas.
